Dick to LARRY, pat, Thomas, Lewis show details 7:28 PM (2 hours ago) Reply This is going to just a handfull compared to the normal;e is where we are at as of about 2 this afternoon. Amendment #17 for DEQ, clarification on wetlands Amendment #18 for State Police, changing of the language to clarify who can ride on the actual roadway, new language designed to prevent anything over 60" on the roadway unless plated. ( as written, a small truck could have put on only an sticker ORV sticker on and drove down a public roadway was their concern) We now have the endorsement of the SP, with reluctance. We now have the support of the Administration, Executive Branch I assume. Of concern, and yet to be voiced is the Trail Lawyers Association. Serious opposition by them could be a train wreck. There are still several efforts out there to kill this thing in the last minute. Senate will run until about midnight tonite and tomorrow night. My instructions are to stay by the phone, Larry, Pat, Tommy and Lewis, make certain I have your correct cell numbers. In a bit over 24 hours, we will know the results. later, Dick |
