Mike.. your email bounced so I posted this here. sorry for the delay, you post was buried down in a topic. Danaher trail is a loop trail and can be stated from the trail head on M77, about 1 mile north of M28. It is a large parking lot with plenty of room. The East side of the trail has had some logging activity and is a bit confusing at this time but you will not have any problem staying on the trail. You can expect lots of turns and some hills. Total length is about 30 miles and will take a full day to do the ride. Max speed is about 10 mph with many places slower due to the tight turns. If you get to a point that you want a fast trip back to the parking lot, there is a snowmobile trail that runs down the center of the loop. You can take this snow trail to a road on the south end of the loop and then this road west back to the parking lot. Or follow the snow trail all the way back. It will split at one point and head south over a bridge that is closed for the summer. If you hit this you went the wrong way and head back on the other direction at the split back to the parking lot. Of course you can just stay on the trail and complete the loop. roger |
